The Collin County Clerk issues licenses Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• McKinney: 2300 Bloomdale Road, McKinney, TX 75071. (972) 548-4185.
• Plano: 900 E. Park Blvd., Plano, TX 75074. The county listed this office as closed for flood repairs when we checked; call (972) 881-3025 first.

The fee is $80, or $20 with a premarital course certificate. If you apply online, both of you must come to the office within 10 calendar days. Bring photo ID and your Social Security numbers. After the ceremony, the officiant returns the license within 30 days.
